Caramelized Banana Pecan Waffles

INGREDIENTS 

Waffle

  • 1 Scoop Protizyme Banana Cream Protein Powder (35 g)
  • 1 Banana (100 g)
  • 1/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour (30 g)
  • 3 Tbsp Egg Substitute (46 mL)
  • 1 Tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk (15 mL)
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Topping

  • 2 Tbsp Pecan Pieces (14 g)
  • 1/2 Banana (50 g) + 1 Tbsp Sugar Free Maple Syrup

DIRECTIONS

  • Mash banana
  • Mix together all ingredients (will be thick), add banana last
  • Cook on waffle iron with nonstick spray (low to medium heat)
  • Cut 1/2 banana into slices for topping
  • Add banana slices, syrup, and pecans to pan
  • Cook on stove top for about 5 minutes
  • Add toppings to waffle and enjoy!
